As I finally decided to do something with w4jdh.net again, I’m gonna post a blog post then decide what to do with the root site (currently just a blank index page). While the new forthcoming rage is sure to be the second (third?) iteration of the Tablet PC shown at CES, I am still drawn … Continue reading
Life with Netbook, Rev. A
I made a few posts in a series called “Life with Netbook” this past year. Well, I noticed that Dell had a good price on the Mini 10v last week, so I decided to drop the money so I’d have a 10.1″ netbook vs the Eee 901’s 8.9″. I decided this on the fact that … Continue reading
The AWA Post, Ver. 2009
(This is a repost from my LiveJournal) As has been the Autumnal Equinox (well, almost) tradition the past five years, I attended Anime Weekend Atlanta yet again this year. One single word describes this year: wet. As per my normal pre-pre-con activities, I checked the weather on Monday and Tuesday of last week to discover … Continue reading
Life with Netbook, Pt. 2
Slashdot ran an interesting article a few days ago about “The First ‘Netbook’”: the Toshiba Libretto 70CT. I actually pined for one of these (or was it the 110CT, the faster one?) for quite some time back when I first learned of mobile Internet. Life with Netbook
As I’ve been a netbook user for about three weeks now, I figure I’d write about it. I picked up an Asus Eee PC 901 20G (Linux) a couple of weeks ago. I picked this particular model because it includes Bluetooth and uses a pair of SSDs (4GB and 16GB) and shipped with Linux, so … Continue reading

(This is a repost from my LiveJournal) Brief recap time. Friday: Flight in not too bad, sitting at BWI playing FFXI while waiting for my friend Mike to call me to say he’s on the ground ends with a call about 10 minutes after his flight was supposed to land saying that he was still … Continue reading
Otakon 2008

J2ME client
Found a J2ME general blog client called BlogPlanet. Seems interesting.
MomoCon 2007
So, I finally made it back to MomoCon this year after missing it last year (due to needing to buy tires :/). Arrived at the con last night around 6:15 or so, grabbed dinner with a friend, then proceeded to wander around for a bit. I got there after the dealers room had already closed, … Continue reading
Test test test. Following ZeroZephyr‘s example, I’m setting my wordpress blog to mirror itself to LJ. If you’re wondering why you saw a ton of reposts on your LJ friends lists, it’s because I was up all night trying to export my LJ to WP but failing miserably. So I’m just gonna leave LJ as … Continue reading
