Windows Live Writer

This is a test of Windows Live Writer with WordPress. This is pretty slick, actually. Very very WYSIWYG and such. Works the same way on LJ! For some reason, I think this is gonna be nice and cool.

二つのラップトップのバックアップとリインスタール

Taking a night off from the backup fun of getting roughly 40-50GB of data off my primary machine’s hard disk so I can do the good ol’ nuke-and-pave method to get Windows reinstalled as I’m trying to get the machine actually running speedily again (well, mostly because a couple of games are having nice “deathlag” ... What was this again?

I don’t update this nearly enough. Maybe now I’ll have time/motivation to do such. More to come later.

GPS, Radios, and Arcane Software

It’s fairly common knowledge that I possess an amateur radio license, callsign W4JDH. EchoLink

To introduce a new category, I present a post on an oft-discussed facet of amateur radio: EchoLink. I overheard someone at work the other day mentioning how neat it is and how it can be a good way to get young people interested in ham radio. The way he described it sounds exactly like the ...
